Winner: 2023 Genesis G90

The G90 full-size luxury sedan has served as Genesis’ flagship since both the car and the division launched in 2017 (Genesis is Hyundai’s luxury arm). The G90 is redesigned for 2023, with the new Power trains, the latest technology, dramatic but elegant styling, and significantly higher pricing than their predecessors.
Flagship cars are traditionally the technical tours de-force for their respective makers, but some class stalwarts have become so focused on GV’s tech features that they might be a bit much (looking at your direction, Mercedes-Benz S-Class). The wide touchscreen interface and touch-sensory controls may look spectacular, but they can be a headache to use every day. To its credit, the G90 keeps things relatively simple with a simple control interface and clear digital menus.
This doesn’t mean the G90 lacks features. The officially-built cabin is presented with many high-end touches, such as heated, airy, and massage seats; a touchscreen control interface for rear passengers; electricity Closing doors; a cabin aroma diffuser; and even a mood curator system that integrates various ambient elements such as cabin lighting, music, and scents into preset programs.
Genesis also noted that the core mission of a large luxury sedan is to bring passengers world-class tranquility and comfort—not all buyers want the luxury of a sports sedan, especially if it affects the quality of the ride. It handles its size well for an automobile (some part thanks to its available air suspension and rear-wheel steering system), and the G90 prefers traction over its cornering capacity.
It shifts just fine along, however; the base 3.5T AWD is powered by a 375 horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6. The step-up 3.5T e-Supercharger AWD model uses the same basic engine but a 48-volt electric super for a total production of 409 hp Adds to the charger.
The icing on the cake is the knockout exterior styling of the G90 – it’s both sensational and dignified, illuminated with innocent details like the bold version of Genesis’ signature diamond Shield girl with thin-striped headlights with micro-optic lenses.
This car is no longer the relative deal it once was — in fact, it’s the first Genesis to break the $100,000 barrier — but we think the new G90 is worth the money. Given its luxury presence, it outshines its class rivals. Standing tall against while in price cuts them.
2023 Land Rover Range Rover: Finalists

A newly-designed Range Rover was introduced as a mid-2022 model, taking a fresh impact on the semi-plate signature exterior styling, and impressed us in the same way the new G90 did. The Land Rover Favored a superb interior and pleasant ride quality, and it kept the wide control interface in check. While they don’t break new ground, the Range Rover’s tech features are quick and easy to see.
And while some Range Rover owners make the most of their vehicles’ great off-road abilities, the new Land Rover model offers a complete array of technologies, including an off-road camera system, a standard height-adjustable air suspension, and six different off-road. Driving modes that make rough terrain a breeze.
There’s no shortage of oomph under the hood. The 2023 Range Rover offers a choice of a 395-hp, turbo-charged 3.0-liter six-cylinder or a 523-hp, twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8. New for 2023, a plug-in hybrid version produces a combined production of 434 hp and an estimated electric driving range is 48 miles.

2023 Porsche Taycan Cross Tourismo: Finalists

A well-rounded nature is one of the things we look for in luxury class, and the Porsche Taycan Cross Tourismo is very well-rounded. It’s a sports car! This is a luxury car! This is an electric vehicle! This is a hatchback wagon! This is a slight off-roader! This could be a supercar that rockets 0-60 mph in 3 seconds!
The Taycan Cross Turismo is the wagon-like version of Porsche’s Taycan electric sedan. The hatchback-body-style long roof provides improved rear-seat headroom on the sedan, as well as providing respectable cargo-carrying space for the sporty vehicle. AWD is standard, And the maximum output is up to 469-750 hp, depending on the trim, though note that the maximum power rating comes only using launch control. Even with the 750-hp Turbo S, though, the Taycan Cross Turismo retains the quality of the ride Is gentle enough for road trip comfort while also delivering the athletic driving character you’d expect from Porsche.
However, these road trips probably won’t last long. Cross Turismo’s EPA-rated driving ranges are less than 240 miles, behind most rival EVs. And even among luxury brands, Porsche never bargains prices Unknown for — you’ll have to make more than six figures for all but the base trims, and the top-performing Turbo S easily hits the $200,000 mark with options. Nevertheless, there are plenty of these on the market There aren’t cars that check as many boxes as the Taycan Cross Turismo.
